At the end of October I was lucky enough to photograph the Jewish wedding of two absolutely brilliant people. Jo, an old friend of mine from way back when, was tying the knot with her fella, John, and a lovely fella he is too.
This was a wedding so full of love it was almost tangible. Jo and John’s friends and families created an atmosphere of warmth, energy and happiness, which made for a fantastic night of partying.
Jo and John had a mixed ceremony at Old Finsbury Town Hall, with the civil service taking place first, immediately followed by a really lovely series of Jewish blessings from their Rabbi, Rebecca. Both Jo and John’s mums took part by lighting a candle for them, which was a great moment.
The speeches were all brilliant, recounting some funny stories (particularly the best man’s speech, which suitably embarrassed John), and the party which followed was lively, to say the least. There were some incredible shapes thrown on the dance floor, the likes of which I’m not sure I’ve ever seen before! I love being a London wedding photographer because you see something different at every wedding!
Congratulations to Jo and John, wishing you a lifetime of happiness together.
