Recently I was very happy to capture an intimate London wedding for Grace and Patrick. Neither Grace or Patrick live in London at the moment, but Grace grew up in Chelsea, thus the wedding taking place there.
The wedding was pretty small but featured about 25 people, a lot of whom hadn’t seen each other for a long time, so it was a day full of love and emotion.
I first met the happy couple in the morning to shoot some portraits of them in and around Chelsea. Despite a reasonable weather forecast, it rained a bit, but only for a few minutes, which made for some memorable photos of Grace and Patrick huddling underneath her shawl.
We then headed over to Chelsea Town Hall, where the guests arrived, and we had a short time to shoot a few small group portraits on the staircase, before being called into the Brydon Room for the ceremony.
Following a lovely ceremony with a few tears, Grace and Patrick exited the town hall to a confetti shower, before wandering down the road to Bluebird restaurant and bar. They had a private room booked for a delicious lunch, with lots of food, drink and laughter.
Grace and Patrick I wish you a long, happy life together.
If you know of anyone getting married soon who is looking for a London wedding photographer, please don’t hesitate to put them in touch.
Thank you for beautifully capturing such a memorable day!
We will truly value these photographs for years to come!
We will be sure to contact you again for any other event.
All the best,
Patrick & Grace
