Set halfway between Angel and Highbury Corner on the perenially cool Upper Street, Islington Town Hall is a popular choice amongst couples looking for a venue for their civil wedding ceremony. Featuring a number of rooms with different capacities and decor, it offers an affordable option for discerning couples with an eye on their budget.

The Council Chamber

The biggest space in the town hall, with a vaulted ceiling and stained-glass windows, it can seat 100 people in the seating arranged in a horseshoe shape. There is even an overlooking balcony that can seat a further 60 guests, so it can play host to quite a large wedding celebration.
