I’ve know Verity since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, so I was thrilled when she asked if I would photograph her Jewish wedding to her fella, the lovely Tom.
They got married in early May on a stiflingly hot day – it was a belter!
The ceremony took place at New West End Synagogue in London, which is a place of incredible beauty. It’s just an amazing place to tie the knot.
Following an emotional ceremony, I hopped in the wedding car with the happy couple and drove back to Canizarro Park in Wimbledon, where we spent twenty minutes shooting some very flowery portraits of the two of them. The park was such a contrast to the synagogue, which is one of the great things about being a London wedding photographer.
Returning home to a marquee in the garden and an afternoon filled with tea, coffee, cake, canapes and heart warming speeches.
I loved every minute of that day. Such fun. Wishing Tom and Verity a lifetime of happiness together.
